Owners of Chilako Drilling: Larry and Maureen DeLong
Larry is a soil technologist and received his education
from Kelsey Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in
Saskatoon, graduating in 1974.
He worked for Alberta Agriculture from 1974 until 1979
Chilako Drilling was started May 1979 in Coaldale,
Alberta with a single B31 Mobile Drill to do soil survey
work in the South Saskatchewan River basin under a
government contract. Chilako later expanded offering
geo-techincal drilling to private engineering
companies. In the early 1980's Chilako Drilling also
began offering an environmental drilling service.
Presently Chilako Drilling operates 4 drill rigs. |
